Website orders, contactless delivery and 'Click & Collect'

All orders from the website are operating as usual. Please see our FAQ's section on ordering and delivery for more information.

During Covid Level 3 & 4 our physical stores will be closed however, during Level 3 we are able to offer contactless delivery for orders in the Alexandra and Queenstown areas, contactless Click & Collect at prearranged times and our standard same-day dispatch nationwide for orders placed before 2pm (Monday-Friday).

We are able to safely operate under Covid Level 3 restrictions and have taken some extra measures to ensure we are fully compliant with the advice from the NZ Government to keep you and our staff safe.

All packaging and handover is handled using protective gloves and masks to reduce any touch and transmission risk. There is no contact between staff from outside our bubbles and any returns are thoroughly sanitised using a combination of high-temperature cleaning and alcohol.

In-store shopping and services

At Covid Level 3 & 4 restrictions, our Queenstown and Alexandra stores will remain closed to in-store shopping, and any services that require close contact or handling personal items such as repairs and valuations.

What measures are Jamies to protect customers from COVID-19?

According to the World Health Organisation (“WHO”), the chances of contracting COVID-19 from an inanimate object are very low. However, we are constantly monitoring the situation (and any official advice issued in connection with the same) and Jamies is taking sensible measures to protect customers and staff. We suggest you review the WHO website for latest advice in this regard.

Specifically, in respect of the threat of COVID-19, measures implemented by Jamies currently include the following:

We are adhering to NZ Government guidelines and supporting employees who need to self-isolate for 7 days, should they have any concerns or show flu-like symptoms, have a high temperature or a persistent cough.

We do not operate any services including web orders during Level 4 measures.

We do provide contactless order dispatch and click and collect during Level 3 measures.

In addition, we are taking extra precautions on reducing any touch and transmission points throughout all premises and workplaces.

We ask all customers visiting our premises to check-in via the tracing app and face mask use is encouraged at Level 2.

It is essential when visiting our stores that you sign in via the tracing app, use the hand sanitiser provided, please observe 2m social distancing and masks must be worn at all times.

COVID-19 Delivery Measures

In response to COVID-19, all our carriers are taking precautionary measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of their drivers and our customers.

Please be assured that all our carriers are following the advice and guidelines from the government and that the safety of everyone is our priority.

Under Levels 1, 2 & 3, there is currently no impact to our delivery services at this stage, however we encourage all customers to use your home address for delivery.
