This charm is inspired by the iconic Maori kowhaiwhai patterns often used to honour influential and celebrated ancestors. These patterns adorned the tribal waka (canoes) of the first Maori to arrive on the shores of Aotearoa. The intricate patterns represent the everlasting family ties and tell the unique stories of your lineage (whakapapa) and family tree. The red enamel is a traditional Maori colour used to symbolise Papatuanuku, Earth Mother, the sustainer of all living things.

We offer free CourierPost Express Delivery (1-2 working days) for all orders over $200 within New Zealand. Orders under $200 are $10 for standard New Zealand delivery or $15 for standard rural delivery. International shipping rates are calculated at the checkout.
