Very popular since its inception and now in its third year of limited edition release, Seiko Prospex Black Series was originally inspired by the mysterious world of night diving.
The markers’ and lumibrite orange colouring are designed for increased visibility in the dark world of the night sea – orange is the colour of night divers’ lamps, allowing time to be read clearly under dark conditions.

The 2021 collection is a trio of Seiko’s signature designs, incorporating a ‘Monster,’ ‘Tuna,’ and ‘Samurai’ – nicknames invented by Seiko fans for their shapes and looks.

This specific watch is named the ‘Monster’ by Seiko fans – the bezel is said to resemble an open monster’s mouth baring its teeth.
