The axe is one of the oldest tools developed by humans; it has been a symbol of battle throughout the ages. Axe heads, forged in England for cutting roof shingles, were brought to New Zealand and used to fell the native forests to create pastural land. They were considered a popular currency when trading and frequently used as weapons in warfare. Our striking Axe necklace symbolises power and strength, embossed with an intricate continuous koru pattern, honouring our pioneering ancestry.

Pendant drops approximately 3.5cm from tip of bail. Chain included is a medium 55cm belcher chain.

We offer free CourierPost Express Delivery (1-2 working days) for all orders over $200 within New Zealand. Orders under $200 are $10 for standard New Zealand delivery or $15 for standard rural delivery. International shipping rates are calculated at the checkout.
